Alimode Sàrl, was founded in 2004 with a main activity of managing boutiques and supply financial assistance to newly created companies, in the retailer business, with the intention to develop their activity. Within this ativity it got involved with a manufacturer of watches and its management decided to participate into the watch business. The company took over the brand Carbon14 (C14) and the distribution of fashion brands such as PUMA.

Alimode is a small and independent company based in the state of Fribourg, Switzerland. Our aim is to design unique Swiss made watches that fashionably enhance outdoor and casual lifestyles. Propose to the market high quality watches at an exellent relation: quality for money, above market standards
Women and men aged between 18 and 60 and over who are willing to enjoy adventurous outdoor and indoor activities and who are interested in durable and appealing Swiss Made products. Consumers who are timing conscious and who are looking for a new brand which better correspond to their particular interest.
Before developng the Swiss Made Collection it was introduced collections with the Miyota movements (JapaneseMovements also used by more famous brands such as Festina) essentially geared to the USA market and markets where the Swiss Made was not very important but the price could be very important.
These collections were designed with the cooperation of italian designers, produced in the far east under the supervision of swiss engineers. Such an international cooperation has resulted in very attractive collections and has become the base of development of the future collections, such as the Swiss Made
